After completing the brief Interstim® test procedure, our staff will provide you with instructions for the 3 – 4 day trial period that helps you determine if InterStim® therapy is likely to work for you.
Implant Instructions
We describe what to expect during and after the InterStim® implant procedure. Thank you for allowing us to be a long-term partner with your care. We pray that you will do well with the procedure, have an uneventful recovery, and experience long-term success.
Implant Equipment Instructions – Smart Programmer
We describe the Smart Programmer you’ll receive on the day of the implant. The Smart Programmer lets us customize and adjust the settings for your InterStim® therapy.
Implant Equipment Instructions – Recharging (Rechargeable Implants Only)
This video is only for patients with a RECHARGEABLE InterStim® device. We review the charger you’ll receive on the day of the implant and the recharging process you’ll complete approximately once per week.
